Rose yellow and white gold marquise cut mokume gane ring. This mokume gane ring features a rubover-set marquise diamond in a metal combination of rose gold, yellow gold, and white gold.

Mokume gane is a traditional metalworking technique that originated in Japan. Mokume gane is translated to “wood-grain” for the way the metal looks similar to wood grain when it is cut. 

The technique is done by using different metals and colours to create a one-of-kind layered combination. Thin layers of metal are placed on top of each other, bundled up, and melted to produce a unique look. The metal is then shaped into a ring.
