Horizontally set marquise. This engagement ring features a horizontally set marquise diamond that is slightly raised in a 3/4 rubover-like setting on a rounded high polish band.

Though this setting may seem like a rubover setting, the metal doesn’t actually cover the edges of the diamond. The dimension of the ring gives it extra shadowing, drawing attention to the centre stone.
