This halo engagement ring features an 0.70ct Asscher cut diamond centre with a surrounding milgrain outline of round cut diamonds set atop a straight platinum band. The centre diamond has a clarity grade of VS2 and colour grade of G. This diamond is what the industry calls an eye-clean near-colourless diamond. 

Asscher cut diamond engagement rings surged in popularity during the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s. During this period, engagement rings with geometric lines and streamlined shapes were in high-demand. 

The Asscher cut diamond was developed by Joseph and Abraham Asscher in 1902. The shape features a step-cut faceting style, similar to the emerald cut diamond.
